DATAVIEW is live since 2017 at Intermodal Marine Terminal in Genoa, Italy. DSP software grabs the data from the Master Terminal by NAVIS and combines it with financial figures, standard costs and revenue on our property datamodel and presents the results using Microsoft Power BI.
DATAVIEW is a BI solution built on top of the latest Microsoft technology, which is recognised as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics. As any BI solution, the architecture consists to start from Staging (SQL Server), ETL (SSIS), Processing (SSAS) and Visualisation (Power BI or SSRS).
The most attractive feature of DATAVIEW is to enable the live comparison of cost and revenue for each vessel calling at the terminal, providing clear evidence to management that the terminal ecosystem is performing well or not and if corrective actions need to be taken.
